Share orders have come in so quickly and from so many sources I know I haven't gotten verification out to everyone so here's the run-down. If you see an error, please let me know ASAP. If you did not get this in an e-mail, let me know that, too, because that's the way we communicate with folks.
Garden shares are listed first, then eggs and other items below that.
SUMMER GARDEN SHARES
Farm pick-up: Osborn (full share, every other week)
Newburgh pickup: Potts (full share weekly); Bedi, Cheema, Dhingra, Jairath, Kilinski, Vavilala (half-share weekly) The Newburgh pickup will be at the private residence of one of our shareholders and she would appreciate timely arrival, I'm sure. Exact day and time will be worked out closer to shares and I'll let you know, along with the address.
Owensboro pick-up: Eubanks, Hawkins, Jorin, Knapp, Moore, Pagan, Rullman L, Rullman M (half-share weekly); Winstead (half-share bi-weekly) The Owensboro pick-up will again be at Settle Memorial UMC, and will probably be Thursdays from 5-6:30, like last year. We'll let you know if there will be any change in day/time.
WINTER GARDEN SHARES (as a reminder, we have to plant these seeds now, too, so if you're on the fence you need to decide within the next couple weeks)
Kilinski (Nov, Dec)
EGG SHARES (if you didn't note your season, I assumed you want a summer egg share to correspond with the garden share. If you want to start eggs sooner, please let me know ASAP.)
half share (1 doz every other week): Eubanks, Rullman M
full share (1 doz every week): Eubanks, Knapp, Osborn
POULTRY SHARES (if you're thinking about chicken, turkey, or waterfowl, think fast - they take a few months to grow)
Peters
PORK SHARES (we have plenty of pork available)
Eubanks (half hog)
HONEY & JELLY (these will be delivered next fall, once everything is harvested and processed)
Honey: Kilinski (2); Rullman M (1)
Jelly/Jam: Dhingra (1 grape, 1 peach); Kilinski (3 seedless blackberry); Rullman M (1 grape)
WORK SHARES (we're always open to have an extra hand or two, just give a call before you come. Right now we're planting like crazy!)
Osborn
I seriously have a full newsblog on my list of things to do - if I'm not called to the seed planting task force today, I'll see if I can get one knocked out. In the meantime, let me know if you have trouble accessing any of the pages on the website, including the blog. It's seriously a work in progress, especially still trying to get everything that was on the old site onto the new one (blogs are particularly time consuming), and I was hoping to be further ahead on that project by now - the weather has been too nice to be online all day!
Any questions, give us a call. If I'm in the house, I'll answer, but with all this great weather, we've been out planting a lot. Just leave a message - be sure to leave your number. I do check e-mail regularly (often several times a day) and that's the best way to reach us.
